Raw Gaia Shikakai Hair Wash 100g
£7.14
Shikakai means 'fruit for hair' and is a 100% natural shampoo powder. It is an excellent cleanser but doesn?t strip the hair of its natural oils. Moreover, it detangles the hair and works wonders as a natural conditioner. Because of its stringent qualities, Shikakai naturally removes the dirt and excess oil accumulated on the scalp. * Shikakai promotes strong, beautiful hair in several ways: * Provides new life to hair strands * Strengthens hair roots * Increases bounciness and silkiness of hair * Promotes hair growth. It is also used to combat dandruff and lice. Containing no dye content Shikakai powder is great for hair preperation before using natural hair dyes. Cleaner and better conditioned hair will absorb more of the natural dyes giving you a better colour result. Shikakai is made from ?Acacia Concinna?, a small shrub-like tree which grows in the warm, dry plains of central India. Raw Gaia?s Shikakai is wildcrafted and free from chemicals. Once the plant is harvested the fruit pods, leaves and bark of the plant are sun-dried and powdered. Please note: This product is not suitable for people with blond hair as it naturally slightly darkens the hair. Directions: Create a thick paste by mixing a small amount of Shikakai powder with water. Gently massage the paste into the scalp and hair using your fingertips. Wait 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water.
